Costa Blanca Mountain Scrambling
Scrambling is a grey activity between mountain hiking and rock climbing and a
natural progression for adventurous hikers.
It requires a good head for heights. Fitness and agility are essential.
Many of our Costa Blanca Mountain Hikes include some basic scrambling sections
but for more progressive routes we use ridges such as Els Castellets West or
Segaria East with short multi pitches of scrambling grades 2 to 3.
The duration of these scrambles can vary between 20 minutes to several hours
depending on the size and experience of the group.
Rope back up is always available and only experienced scramblers are allowed to
join us on the more difficult routes. View some of our Scrambling Routes.
Scrambling is adventurous and exciting and allows you to explore more dramatic
and hidden rock areas and summits that are not accessible to hikers.
